About
David 'PizzaBoy' Breen (b. 1992) is a self-taught painter and visual artist working primarily in oil. His work grew out of painting street art before finding its way into the studio, where he’s spent years quietly refining his approach. That background still shows in the directness and energy of his paintings, shaped by working fast, trusting instinct, and learning by doing.
He moves easily between mediums, creating works where oil paints, hand-drawn lettering, screen-printing, and purpose-built sets co-exist. Breen’s paintings are built around mood and memory rather than fixed stories. Late nights, empty roads, and in-between moments are ever-present. He creates scenes that feel familiar without being specific, like a nostalgia for memories you didn’t know you had. This openness keeps the work fluid and personal, blending raw energy with considered technique.
David “PizzaBoy” Breen lives and works in Glasgow, Scotland.
